This is one of the Black Friday goodies I've grabbed. "Triplicate Records" always is a good address for finding some very fine electronica stuff in case of need. Well, I was in considerable need yesterday, so I picked an older album by George Evans aka "Suncastle", since I enjoyed (and still enjoy) his October 2019 release "Basecamp" pretty much. Needless to say that I'm enjoying "Original Son" just as much. By the way, it comes with some of the best liner notes I've ever read... :-D Sven B. Schreiber

This is an excellent example of where I would like more ambient artists to go with their music. The songs are musical while not exhaustive in length. Very nice work by Time Rival. acefstripe

This EP scratches those needed itches for drippy and sinfully blissful rock psychedelics. Another great Skyjelly release and should be in the radars of any rock and psychedelic enthusiast~ Dave T.
Hard-hitting, aggro-techno bangers with synths that slash like serrated sheets of metal and booming beats that rock the body. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 12, 2019

An absolutely superb album which has a sparse minimal / techno feel at times with great variety in rhythmic sounds.
There's often a driving kick rhythm but also processed kick sounds, contrasting against syncopated hats.
There are some excellent and unusual synth sounds - great layering of these and sparse use works really well. I also like the dark ambience in some of the songs which creates an excellent texture / contrast. Andrulian
